ROLAND CARDONA began his career in architecture when he was just 16 years old. With a strong interest and enthusiasm for construction, during his junior year in high school, he entered the Job Placement Program after exceling in architectural drafting classes taken in previous years.
After high school, Roland was hired by McChesney/Bianco Architecture, where he would go on to build a 21-year career while working on numerous K-12 and higher education facilities for a highly regarded local university and multiple school districts.
He brings to HFS his expertise in managing and producing construction documents and ensuring projects conform to ADA Standards for Accessible Design. His versatile skill set also allows him to serve in many roles throughout the course of a project. He works closely with architects, project managers, and construction administrators, assisting in performing design reviews, coordinating consultants, project permitting, reviewing/responding to submittals, and more.
