My Coolest Project:
"The most exciting project thus far in my career has been working on the new Medina Valley High School 2 project. The project composes of a design for a new high school in Medina County Texas, just outside of the San Antonio area, and consists of being 3 stories high, 400,000+ square footage with a two-story cafeteria, theater, band room, 2 gyms and a football field. The Medina County desperately needed a new high school since their current high school was designed in the 60s and lacks many modern amenities as well as classrooms for the expanding growth of the County."

PABLO GAYTAN’s is a dual citizen from the United States and Mexico, he was born in El Paso, Texas and raised for majority of his childhood in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He is a native Spanish speaker and fluent English speaker. From the moment he was born, architecture has been present in his life in the form of the personal practice of his father, who is an architect in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Having grown up seeing his dad using industry standard software: AutoCAD, he quickly learned how to read architecture drawings at a young age. From there on, architecture has been part of his life, in high school he took classes that taught Civil Engineering and Architecture principles as well as upcoming and present day industry standard software: Revit, since the age of 16 he has been using such software in many of his designs and drawings during high school, and later on, in college at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

It is here, where he was part of the first group of students to go studying abroad in Urbino, Italy, in 2021, following the break from travel internationally due to the international outbreak of COVID in 2020. During his time in Italy hew grew a deeper love and appreciation for the opportunities and growth that a career in Architecture has to offer and took part in a design studio that digitally recreated the town of Urbino as well as its historic castle, The Ducal Palace in Revit. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture as part of the 2022 Class. Since then, he has been working towards attaining his professional license to become a licensed architect with experience from various firms across the San Antonio area.

Pablo is excited and optimistic about starting a new chapter and joining the HFS team to continue growing and developing his career in Architecture.
