JOE MARTINEZ joined the HFS Company Family in 2026 as Services Director. Originally from McAllen, Texas, he began his federal contracting career in 1997 as a Project Manager for a small 8(a) firm managing a Military Housing Maintenance at Kelly AFB, San Antonio.
He later managed projects at Lackland AFB, Bolling AFB, Andrews AFB, and Lemoore Naval Air Station through 2008. In 2009, he served as Director of Operations for a federal environmental firm in the San Diego area.
In 2010, Joe joined HFS Company as a Program Director, gaining full life-cycle experience in pursuing, capturing, and managing federal contracts. After leaving HFS in 2015, he continued working in federal contracting as a Senior Program Manager for BBNC and most recently as a General Manager for Chenega.
Joe has more than 25 years of federal contract experience across facilities, environmental, construction, civilian, and healthcare sectors, with strengths in business development, program support, and customer relationships.
