About

Agnieshka Sierra

Civil Engineering Intern

AGNIESHKA SIERRA, though she mainly goes by Aggie, is currently attending The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she is studying Civil Engineering and minoring in Environmental Science. Aggie grew up in Kyle, TX and graduated from Jack C. Hays High School in 2024.

She enjoys traveling and has visited many places, most recently Japan and South Korea with her mom and sister in 2024. She also speaks two additional languages: Spanish and conversational Korean — enough to get by in a taxi. Aggie is also a big foodie and loves experiencing different cultures through their cuisine.

Before college, Aggie completed a year-long internship with The Office of Architecture under the mentorship of Dax Morton, an AIA architect. This opportunity was made possible through the four-year architecture program she completed in high school.

At UTSA, Aggie is involved in several organizations and leadership opportunities. She is a member of SOSA (Spirit of San Antonio), the university’s marching band, and she’s also part of the 2026–2027 leadership team. Additionally, Aggie competed in the ASCE Sustainability Challenge. This past spring, her team placed 3rd in the competition in Corpus Christi, TX.

She is very passionate about her work and strives to bring enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication into every project she takes on.
