HFS Company has worked on a variety of government and non-government projects on 29 prime contracts in 33 states, the District of Columbia, and throughout Europe and Asia. Since 2003, HFS has enhanced over 400 facilities across the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Veterans Affairs (VA), including Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Naval Medical Center San Diego, and Audie Murphy Memorial VA Hospital.
HFS – Leo A Daly Joint Venture
HFS has joined together with LEO A DALY to form the HFS – LEO A DALY Joint Venture (JV) LLC under the Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP). LEO A DALY, one of the top design firms in the federal arena, will support us in gaining additional knowledge and experience in federal contracting. Through participation in the MPP, the HFS – LEO A DALY JV can pursue any type of set-aside contract for which HFS, the protégé, qualifies. The six-year agreement will allow agency clients to receive small business utilization credit for small, woman-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned business classifications, while combining the full breadth and depth of our capabilities via a single entity.
HFS is excited to explore the range of possibilities under the JV. Michele Torres, HFS President, said, “Being a service-disabled veteran and businesswoman, I’m looking to learn how to work smarter, not harder, in our federal work. A formal mentor-protégé relationship with LEO A DALY will allow us to pull back the curtain to see how a successful federal design contractor does things.
